Becoming a Medical Assisting Professional
This Associate in Applied Science Degree program will provide students with the specific skills needed to seek careers as professionals in a medical or health services setting. Note: Medical Assistant Certification Prior to completion of the Practicum Medical Assistant Management course (MSC301 in the Day Division and MSC301A and MSC301B in the Evening Division), students will register for and be expected to sit for a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification exam. It is not a course or program requirement that students pass the exam. However, students will receive an “INC” grade in the course and will not be eligible to graduate until the exam has been taken and the course completed. |
