The Business of Beauty

What a better way to celebrate Women’s History Month than with a female award-winning entrepreneur, female business owner and CW Alum, Danielle Settembre!

Danielle is the owner and founder of Hair Saloon & Cafe™ in Scarsdale, NY.

Student hosts, Neranyi, Shahine, and Guadalupe welcomed Danielle to a room full of students who heard advice on business, balancing work, and life, about being a woman in business, and her experience at CW. “Never give up!”, was Danielle’s message to the students, on their dreams.

You could hear the passion in Danielle’s voice as she spoke about her business and her love for cutting hair. Danielle is quoted as saying, “I love what I do, and I make people feel good.  She said to, “follow what you love and not the money; the money will come.”  This advice resonated with the students.

When asked about her inspiration, Danielle said it comes from within. Hear her inspirational message below.

We thank Danielle for her time spent with students and are proud of her success!

About Danielle

Danielle Settembre is the owner and founder of the innovative concept Hair Saloon & Cafe™.

Danielle has a bachelor’s degree in business management administration from CW and was also a CWCF scholarship recipient.  She trained at L’Oréal academy in Paris. She’s worked alongside French celebrity stylist Odile Gilbert and is an ambassador for the global hair care product line, Kerastase.

She’s worked with some of the biggest names in fashion backstage during New York City and Paris fashion week where she mastered precision cutting and color techniques on runway models.

With years of extensive experience, Danielle built up her clientele working in New York at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.

In addition to hair, she’s always had a love for hospitality. Her family-owned restaurant inspired her to merge the concept of food and beverage with a full-service salon experience.

She’s a fierce supporter of female-owned businesses and welcomes all to experience the concept that she so passionately built.
