Students, faculty, and administrators from New York’s degree-granting proprietary colleges visited Albany to acknowledge lawmakers for supporting the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) for college students.
Our CW delegates were part of a group representing New York’s Association of Proprietary Colleges (APC), easily identified by their blue and white scarves. In addition to students lobbying for TAP in Albany, so were CW’s Dean of Student Success, Maria Gangi, and Executive Assistant to the President, Annette Casserly.
Our students also met with NY Senators Alessandra Biaggi and Luis Sepulveda, NY Assemblywomen Nathalia Fernandez and Karines Reyes, as well as Assemblymen Ed Braunstein, Gary Pretlow, and Jeffrey Dinowitz.
