Congratulations to our Fall 2018 Students of the Semester, Angie Jaramillo and Trayvon Campbell!
Angie Jaramillo (Associate’s)
Angie Jaramillo is enrolled in the Medical Assistant Management program, with a 3.92 cumulative GPA. She has earned both President’s List and Dean’s List recognition and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society. Also, Angie represented CW for the TAP Lobby in Albany. Angie went to Ramapo Senior High School in Rockland County. She feels that choosing CW was the right choice because of the college’s family environment, as she has received help from her professors, faculty and Student Services/Financial Aid. Angie is expected to graduate in April 2019. After CW, Angie plans on transferring to a medical school, as she wants to become a surgeon. Thanks to CW, she is ready to chase her dreams, make her parents proud and teach her younger brother that, no matter what, you can always make your wildest dreams come true.
Trayvon Campbell (Bachelor’s)
Trayvon Campbell is enrolled in the Interactive Digital Media and Marketing program, with a 3.91 cumulative GPA. He has earned both President’s List and Dean’s List recognition. Trayvon was born and raised in the Bronx. He went to the High School of Contemporary Arts in the Evander Childs Campus. Trayvon was not sure of what college suited his career choice until he received an email from CW and went to orientation. Trayvon is expected to graduate in August 2019. Growing up, comics have always inspired Trayvon, so he wants to become a comic writer, colorist, illustrator and everything else that comes with the industry. Trayvon currently lives in the Bronx with his family. Doing what has to be done and staying driven is never an issue for Trayvon because, at the end of the day, he’s just trying to tell a story.
